Jose Maria Chaer is a member of the WCCM Guiding Board representing Latin America. He is also the National Coordinator for Meditatio Argentina. A Catholic, he has been practicing Christian Meditation for 15 years. He leads a weekly meditation group in the district of Palermo in his home town Buenos Aires, Argentina. An Industrial Engineer by training and a multinational corporate executive for 30 years, he left the corporate world at the end of 2016 to found Team-Noia, his consulting practice in the field of Strategy, People, and Team Development. He is a founding partner of Bisblick, an NGO devoted to helping low resource youngsters to complete undergraduate studies and to find work or to start up their own business. He is also a member of the coordination team of Proyectar, an NGO devoted to environmental preservation. He has four children: Ines (25), Juan and Santiago (22), and Jose (19) with whom he enjoys spending time, traveling, and working on projects. He also enjoys practicing yoga, jogging, biking, alpine skiing, and traveling with his wife Mariana.
